West Midlands Hedgehog Rescue
About: WMHR started when a juvenile hedgehog stumbled into the founder’s garden in 2002 in need of help. With advice from other hedgehog carers, the juvenile survived and the founder was asked to look after some more orphaned hedgehogs. Nowadays, WMHR has looked after 400+ sick, injured and orphaned hedgehogs throughout the West Midlands. Based in South Staffordshire, but assists in rescues in surrounding counties.
